Types of Account

Accounting में Accounts को 3 main types में divide किया गया है:

1. Personal Account (पर्सनल अकाउंट):-  जो account किसी व्यक्ति (Person), संस्था (Firm), कंपनी (Company) से related हो, उसे Personal Account कहते हैं। इसमें तीन प्रकार के account होते हैं 

Personal Account: शरद, सुशील, कमला, मोहन, सोहन आदि।
Artificial Account: कम्पनी का नाम, बीमा का नाम, बैंक का नाम, college का नाम, Firm का नाम आदि।
Representative Personal Account: Outstanding Wages, Salary, Advanced Salary, Advanced Wages आदि ।

2. Real Account:- वह account, जो Assets (संपत्ति) से related होता है। जो Tangible और Intangible Assets को represent करते हैं।

1. Tangible Assets :- जिन्हें देख और Touch कर सकते हैं
Examples:

• Cash Account
• Building Account
• Furniture Account
• Machinery Account

2. Intangible Assets:- जिन्हें touch नहीं कर सकते, लेकिन value होती है
Examples:

• Goodwill Account
• Patent Account
• Trademark Account

3. Nominal Account:- वह जो Income (आय), Expense (खर्च), Profit (लाभ) और Loss (हानि) से related होता है।

यह account business की Income (आय), Expense (खर्च) को show करते हैं।

1. Expense Accounts:-

• Salary Account

• Rent Account

• Wages Account

• Electricity Expense Account

2. Income Accounts:-

• Commission Received Account

• Interest Received Account

• Discount Received Account
